Mozambique: Support for the implementation and coordination of the PALOP and Timor-Leste cooperation program

Country :Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Sao Tome and Principe, Timor-Leste

Objective :The objective of the project is to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the PALOP and Timor-Leste cooperation by coordinating specific projects implemented by the countries and fostering political cooperation and communication between the countries involved

Job description :

The project will have the following components:

• Component 1: Consolidating a Coordination Network in Beneficiary Countries and among PALOP and Timor-Leste
• Component 2: Establishing Management and Communication Tools of the Network and of the Program
• Component 3: Strengthening Overall Coordination of the PALOP and Timor-Leste Program
• Component 4: Establishing Strategic Partnerships

Team leader / Key Expert 1

Agriconsulting is looking for a Team Leader / Key Expert 1 for the EU funded project “**Support for the implementation and coordination of the PALOP and Timor-Leste cooperation program**”

Qualifications and skills

• · A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a development related discipline.
• · A post-graduate qualification or equivalent is preferable.
• · Proficiency in both spoken and written Portuguese
• · Proficiency in English or /and French will be added values.
• · Computer literacy and familiarity with standard PS Office software.

General professional experience

• · A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience with a minimum of five (5) years in international development project.
• Support to the NAO, institutional development, capacity building, and project management.
• · Experience in Technical Assistance (TA) in PALOP countries/ Timor Leste
• · Experience in Team Leader
• · Excellent knowledge in Project Cycle Management and EU procedures .
• · Good knowledge of FED

·The assignment should start in June 2015 and the period of implementation will be of 36 months.
